| Abstract | This paper analyzes the construction of memory through the preservation of cultural heritage, with the study objective the mapping and identification of cultural assets (tangible and intangible), as well as the analysis of the influence of these goods to the community, such as paper and place the municipality of Pilar-PB memory. Regarding the methodology this work is guided by the field research and qualitative, intended to describe the cultural assets of Pilar municipality mentioned by oral history, which search through orality which was recorded in memory. From the perspective of systematic observation, we chose to work collecting and recording facts of reality. Reports from residents contributed to the understanding of changes over time and place. The heritage has important artistic, cultural, religious, and document for a society. However the extent of the cultural heritage, leads us to believe in the importance of a clustered individual to a community and to recognize the space that lives in it. |
