| Abstract | This researchanalyzes metrics from Information Science journals related to the Copyright subject found in the Web of Science database. The research was carried out considering publications from 2000 to 2016, and applied the Lotka’s Law for authorship analysis, the Bradford’s Law for the journals’ analysis and the Zipf’s Law for the descriptors’ analysis and their frequencies. Results allow to conclude that the great majority of the authors published only once time about the subject, among the scientific journalsthat publish more about the subject, just five of them are numerically relevant, been the journal Scientometricsthe most relevant one. Finally, the most frequent descriptors were not compatible with the keywords used in the queries adopted by the study, which gives subsidy for new researches with different search strategies,as well as further research focusing on aqualitative analysisof the articles found. |
