Abstract	My intention here is to evaluate myth’s category through some philosophems unfolded in The Origin of German Tragic Drama, in order to show that, far from being the accomplice of historical time, the myth, released from logos – literally pulled out from the mythology which gives it an extrinsic meaning –, it would rather be the very aesthetic figure in which an image of messianic time shows itself.
