Abstract	In this research, we describe the virtual classroom used in the Adult Education Center of Tejina-Tegueste. This educational Center dependent on the Dirección General de Formación Profesional y Educación de Adultos of the Government of Canaries uses the flexible and integrated environment for distance education called Moodle. We do an analysis that includes the technical characteristics (requirements of software and hardware), the educational resources used (didactic guides, texts, tools of communication, etc.); as well as the human resources necessary for the use of "Moodle" in Adult Education. Besides, it is exemplified by means of the description of the process of development of a specific course: "Design of web pages".
