Abstract	The bi-Weibull model is a family that accommodates non-monotone hazard curves, such as bathtub-shaped ones. We describe a methodology for analysing the bi-Weibull model by considering a parametric simulation approach. The size and power curve for the tests is obtained. An example illustrates the methodology.
