| Abstract | The white mold disease caused by the fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, affects more than 75 botanic families and is responsible for loss of income that can reach 100% in agronomic crops. So has been studied by several research groups around the world and has great importance in biological control programs. In this study, 20 isolates of Trichoderma were tested in the laboratory, the technique of direct confrontation (paired cultures) of crops and also analyzed for production of secondary metabolites and the capacity to inhibit germination of sclerotia. Tests were conducted in a greenhouse with the same isolates. In the field, three of them were evaluated in terms of reducing the impact of the pathogen on the |
