| Abstract | This paper has discussed the use of apologetics, as a reasonable discipline for Christian faith defense, during Christianity history, accusing deviations caused by fundamentalism, resulting from the reason denial, and by liberalism, resulting from the emptying of supernatural element. The work has pointed to the modern challenges of the christian phenomenology face to the postmodern relativism and hedonism, proposing the investigation of an equilibrated apologetics which may recognize the limitations, as well as the reason and science role played on the comprehension of faith. |
