Abstract	The internationalization of R&D allows companies access to technology that would not be obtained only with operations in their home country. This possibility can promote a greater ability to exploit technological knowledge and could become a platform for developing dynamic capabilities for companies. From the foregoing, especially in dynamic and global industries, it becomes important to understand how the internationalization of R&D help companies to develop and maintain dynamic capabilities. Through an exploratory qualitative approach, the results show that the R&D internationalization influences the development of dynamic capabilities of the studied case and allows companies for the exploration of different sources of innovation. This paper contributes to the academic literature, which have few studies of dynamic capability and internationalization of R&D.
