Abstract	La arteriolopatía urémica calcificante (AUC) o calcifilaxis es un trastorno poco frecuente y grave que se caracteriza por la necrosis de la piel y del tejido adiposo debida a un depósito anómalo de sales cálcicas que conduce a isquemia1,2. Aunque se puede manifestar en diversas patologías, ocurre con mayor frecuencia en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en hemodiálisis1,2. El tratamiento debe incluir antisépticos, analgésicos, antibioticoterapia, cámara hiperbárica y tiosulfato sódico3.
