| Abstract | The present work had as objective and comparison of three methods of estimation of the reference evapotranspiration without valley of the Submédio São Francisco, taking as standard the Penman-Montheit method. The meteorological data for the calculation of ET and the fuels of the meteorological station of the State University of Bahia UNEB Campus DCTS III and analyzed for the period from 2010 to 2015, on a monthly scale, are determined by means of the empirical equations of Hargreveas and Samani And Blaney-Criddle and, later, compared to the standard method.
