Abstract	In this monograph I address the problem that arises from bringing up a split between an ideal pole and a factical pole of experience, the latter understood in the sense of something empirical. I became interested in this problem because of the difficulties that the concept of “historical a priori” suggest, specially if one keeps in mind the influence of Kant’s critical philosophy in Husserl’s phenomenology. By bringing these two philosophies face to face, but also by discussing the risks of naturalism and historicism, I hold that Husserl’s proposal in The Origin of Geometry allows us to overcome the problems that naturalistic and historicist theories introduce, since his account of experience offers a more complete comprehension of it and of its constitution.
