| Abstract | Resumen La lectura es uno de los campos de investigacion que mayor atencion ha recibido por parte de investigadores y academicos en el ultimo tiempo. Dentro de este objeto de estudio, la lectura critica se proyecta como una de las necesidades mas apremiantes por medio de las cuales la universidad pretende elevar los indices de desempeno de sus estudiantes, al tiempo que incluirlos en la sociedad de una forma reflexiva y critica. El presente articulo tiene como proposito describir teorica, metodologica y reflexivamente una practica de lectura critica en estudiantes de educacion superior. Palabras clave Educacion superior, Ensenanza, Lectura critica. Abstract Reading is one of the research fields that has caught the attention of researchers and academician staff in recent times. Within this field of study, critical reading appears as one of the most urgent needs for the universities because it could help them to improve the performance of students, and could favor that students become included in the society in a more reflective and critical way. The purpose of this article is to describe theoretically, methodologically and reflectively a practice of critical reading for university students.
