| Abstract | This article analyzes how blogs facilitate the creation and maintenance of effective relationships between companies and its stakeholders. Challenged by some professionals, who went so far as to predict their disappearance before the strength of other easier and more popular tools like Facebook, Twitter or YouTube, blogs have kept and even increased their importance within organizational strategic communication. From the results of this study, we can conclude that social networks not only did not stop the incorporation of blogs in corporate communication for Spanish companies, but that they have also fostered their development thanks to the enduring ability of blogs to generate and distribute content through different channels. |
