| Abstract | This dissertation presents the warehousing process with the focus on systems of location of stock. This system consists in the way that the products are located in the warehouse. The systems location are: random, fixed and memory system. The ideal system to the company is the one that reduces the costs with warehousing and it adapts the reality of the company. Besides the raised literature on the subject, it was made one study of case in a food industry of large-scale. This company has a large volume of the stock and mix of products. Its products are placed in paletts and in the warehouse are used structures drive-in for storage. At first the current system was characterized. The second step was to obtain the strategic of the company about the warehousing. Concluding, it was done an analysis to verify which of the systems of stock location is the most appropriate for the company, focus on its goals and/or improving the current results of the warehousing process of the systems of stock location. . |
