| Abstract | The New Senior Secondary Curriculum (NSS) stands as a key element of Hong Kong’s post-colonial education reforms. Its genesis lies in proposals to revamp the educational system launched at the turn of the millennium (Education Commission, 2000) and related curriculum reform initiatives (CDC, 2001; CDC & HKEAA, 2007).
