| Abstract | In this article, we propose to use results of a motion based segmentation to improve tracking by particle filtering. We generate firstly particle filtering hypotheses corresponding to regions of similar motion to target displacement at previous time step. Then, after identifying target motion region, target model is updated and integrated as reference for the next tracking iteration. This approach improves performances in complex situations compared with Bootstrap filter as shown our experiments on fish tank sequences. |
