| Abstract | This study is about an investigation on the theatre teacher training process on distance education (EAD) from the analysis of the degree in Theatre of the Pró-licenciatura Programme, offered by the University of Brasília, from 2008 to 2013. Therefore, questionnaires were applied to tutor-teachers and student-teachers and semi-structured interviews were made with course managers. In order to support this research, theoretical assumptions which typify the relations among theatre, technology and education were regarded. Moreover, official documents, the Political-pedagogical Project, Curricular Guidelines of teacher training for the degree in Theatre were analyzed. In addition, the interactions between the subjects involved in the teaching-learning process were taken into consideration in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) of the course. In order to support this research, theoretical assumptions which typify the relations among theatre, technology and education in relation to theatre pedagogy and teacher training in contemporatiety were regarded. The results of this research point to the search for a theatre teacher teaching process that values the production and reading of theatrical practices and unables knowledge construction in a collaborative and critical way, so that the under-training teacher can have a proactive participation as a co-author in the teaching-learning process; |
