| Abstract | HELOU, João Antônio Heinzen Amin. The impact of out consultancy on the performance of a business organization as seen by its clerical staff. A case study in the XYZ 2008. 182 p. The main goal of this study is to demonstrate the impact of consulting on the organizations performance from a internal point of view. The research will be carried through the analysis of the following categories: environment, strategy, technology, size, cycles and human resources and also 14 management principles formulated by Henri Fayol. This research was carried through a case study demonstrating the relations between consulting and the organizations performance. The conclusions were based on the interviews of the consultant and the two directors directly involved with the process. All the managers, who’s departments were directly affected by the consulting, were inquired based on the interviews. The research review demonstrated some inconsistency, on the consulting perception, from the staff’s point of view. The conclusions indicated opportunities of development and presented recommendations for the organizational performance of the company.
