Abstract	The main objective of this paper is to present the importance and necessity of artistic education within the educational environment. At the same time, is intended to show the importance of working with the historical and artistic heritage in Early Childhood Education as well as the close relationship between artistic education and integral development. With this work, we want to offer a reflection on the presence of arts in schools today, and show the importance of teacher intervention. The paper proposes an educational intervention in kindergarten, through project based learning, seeking to promote the interest and appreciation of children in the historical and artistic heritage of the Middle Ages in the city of Segovia, and stimulating their
