| Abstract | El sistema de siembra intensiva trae consigo el aumento de la produccion y demanda la utilizacion de agroquimicos que ocasionan graves problemas ambientales. El canton Pasaje, con una gran produccion de banano, se ve influenciado por este tipo de produccion que genera afectaciones al medioambiente; lo cual limita la produccion y calidad del banano y de otras producciones de la zona. El trabajo concibe un plan de acciones para lograr promover el uso de quimicos biodegradables, asi como emprender campanas de concientizacion ciudadana sobre las consecuencias que trae el uso de estos quimicos. Se utilizaron metodos de nivel teorico y empirico (analisis-sintesis, induccion-deduccion, sistemico-estructural-funcional, encuesta, entrevista no estructurada, guia de observacion, revision documental). El resultado de la reflexion teorica desarrollada a partir del conocimiento de esta realidad permitio reconocer que el uso de plaguicidas afecta el medioambiente y la salud de quienes tienen contacto con los mismos; lo cual requiere de un condicionamiento etico que permita el control de estas practicas. ABSTRACT The intensive planting system brings along a production increase, which has demanded the use of chemicals causing serious environmental problems. Pasaje Canton, which currently has a large production of banana, is influenced by this type of production; which generates damages to the environment that will limit the production and quality of bananas and other crops in the area. This work conceives a plan of actions to promote the use of biodegradable chemicals and undertake public awareness campaigns on the consequences that brings the use of these chemicals. Methods of theoretical and empirical level (analysis-synthesis, induction, deduction, systemic-structural-functional, survey, unstructured interviews, observation guide, and document review) were used. The result of theoretical reflection developed from knowing this reality allowed to recognize that the use of pesticides affect the environment and the health of those who are in touch with them; which requires an ethical conditioning to control these practices. |
