| Abstract | The pedagogical dimension in the area considered is the most important dimension of school management, because it is directly related to the main activity of the school that is to promote the students' learning and to contribute to their formation. It was based on this presupposition that the present research was carried out in the context of three schools of the municipal public network of the city of Criciúma, and its main objective is to analyze the importance of the pedagogical dimension in the scope of school management. The research was carried out through qualitative and descriptive approaches, through interviews, in order to answer the following research problem: what is the importance of the pedagogical dimension in the scope of school management? This study is research of a basic nature, where the aspects addressed are directly related to the expectations of the managers who work in the local schools. The analysis of the interviews was categorized as follows: School Management; Pedagogical Dimension; Political Pedagogical Project. Thus, it is possible to conclude after the analysis of the investigative process, the recognition of the importance of the pedagogical dimension in the scope of school management to the achievement of the institutional objectives. However, it is necessary that the time allocated to pedagogical management be maximized, with a view to promoting democratic participation in the qualified construction of the teaching-learning process. |
