| Abstract | The present work is an experience report related to the Matrix Support in Primary Health Care in the territory covered by the Health District II in the city of Joao Pessoa/PB, during the year 2011. The Support Matrix is designed to ensure a back specialist teams and workers in charge of care for health problems. Such a device intended to sponsor a comprehensive care, universal and equitable, principles, makers of the Unified Health System was used for the mapping method research design, and through this, we sought to investigate the processes of production of subjectivity that occurred in the territory analyzed. Matrix support in the city of Joao Pessoa/PB set in the simultaneous interplay of Management and Care supported by a collective set of forces, in which the relations of power and knowledge established between supporters and workers is revealed from the encounters in everyday services. Given the theoretical and conceptual analysis, associated with the transverse process, participatory training, it is considered that the support matrix in primary health care can be shown as a device to strengthen strategies for action in health care work processes in place, competing paths split between the subjective and bureaucratisation of relations and alterity proposition of the actors involved.
