| Abstract | Malaria is major epidemic disease in Mysore District. Geographic, Climate and Socio economic condition are the important factors for malaria incidences. Climatic factors namely rainfall, temperature and relative humidity are having relationship with the spread of Vector mosquito and development of parasites. In this article Climatic factors are mainly considered to study the disease. The objective of the present study is to explain the impact of climate variability on the transmission of malaria incidence in Mysore district and afford suggestions to similar taluks for disease prevention. Pearson's Correlation analysis is applied using Monthly climatic variables and monthly malaria incidences for the year 2004, is considered to study the relationship between them. The result indicates that the Climatic variables influenced the malaria incidence in the districts. These are considered as possible predictors for regions with similar geographic, climatic conditions of Mysore District. |
