| Abstract | The rainfall intensity is one of the possible sensitive variables to climate change, according to various reports of the IPCC. In order to study the possible variation of this variable, it is necessary to sort with criteria which make reference to the temporal distribution of rainfall. Thus, usually analysis of maximum rainfall is usually done through IDF curves (intensity, duration and frequency of occurrence), in turn which can be expressed as MMI curves, which exponent n indicate temporal distribution of the relative intensities. This index is associated with climatic curves IDF and it contain information on how to achieve maximum precipitation in a particular climate zone. |
