| Abstract | The aim of this study is to analyze whether the self-esteem, social integration in classroom, perceived classroom climate and teachers' perception of their students is different in function of the students' gender and academic level. To get the sociometric measures of the students' social integration it was administered the sociometric questionnaire. A sample of 537 students, whose ages ranged from 10 to 16, was employed in this research. Analyses indicate that girls are more positive perceived by their teachers, are less rejected by their peer and have a less positive physical and emotional self-esteem. The students of higher academic levels perceive less implication and affiliation in classroom and show less positive academic and physical self-esteem. |
