Abstract	The present investigation sought to uncover the perceptions of relatives in the care of the elderly with Cerebral Vascular Disease sequel to the Regional Hospital of Trujillo, qualitative study in the perspective of phenomenology, tube as a reference to the phenomenology of Edmund Hurssel. Participated in the study four family members at that time had a family member older adult with Cerebral Vascular Disease sequel boarding, data were obtained through interviews based on the question: What has been your experience in providing care to their ill family member?. They consider aspects of the methodological path, as to the description, phenomenological reduction, ideographic and nomothetic analysis. The categories drawn from this work include: sadness, Care Giving, strength, concern for his health, in relation to the disease, Family Support, Grief, Impotence, We have faith and Resignation. The unveiling of the phenomenon as perceived transcends interviewed each family member caring for their sick relative in the disease process.
