| Abstract | Parasitosis is defined as the arrival of parasites that hosts having all favorable conditions for its development and multiplication; while less adapted the parasitic species found it, the host’s organism the damage will be greater, unchain an immune response consist in the acting of the eosinophil, which, modulating hypersensitivity reactions in front of the presence of helminthes. However, sustained and prolonged elevation of these cells and granulation leads to progressive tissue damage. The present study was realized in the neighborhood, in the Comunidades section of the parish of Yangana canton of Loja, socio-economic condition that favor helminthes infections are seen due to the lack of adequate basic services as well as to outdoor work performed without protection of any kind. Is necessary to determinate intestinal helminthiasis, quantify eosinophils in peripheral blood; and relate the presence of helminthiasis with the number of eosinophils it was found. The study used was descriptive and cross-sectional. Analysis was performed on 60 persons who met the inclusion criteria; the method used was the technique of stools and eosinophilia in determining a manual white blood cells and a smear of blood, finally calculation of the total of eosinophils per cubic millimeter of blood. It was observed that in the case of intestinal helminth Ascaris lumbricoides caused by one 77.78% had a high eosinophils. Regarding to helminthiasis production by Hymenolepis nana it was observed that 75% of cases showed a higher than normal percentages of eosinophils ranges. For helminthes Trichuris trichiura and Strongyloides stercoralis, 50% of the cases showed eosinophilia. The human manner have a direct impact in the transmission of helminthes meanwhile is necessary educate people about the preventives for this type of infection. Must take in relation between all the researches it found in the laboratory analysis to obtain an adequate medical diagnostic. |
