Innovación tecnológica: un análisis del crecimiento económico en México (2002-2012: proyección a 2018)

Abstract	En el este articulo se abordan factores involucrados con la ciencia, la tecnologia y la innovacion, considerados como variables tecnologicas claves que impactan directamente en el crecimiento economico. Sobre esta base, se da un esbozo de las principales teorias economicas que explican la variable tecnologica en el crecimiento de un pais, asi como el aspecto de la innovacion como detonante del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB). Por otra parte, a traves de metodos estadisticos se busca comprobar la correlacion que existe entre las diferentes variables y su impacto en siete de los principales sectores economicos, los cuales reunen mas del 90% de la inversion que el pais realiza en ciencia y tecnologia. Sobre esa base, se realiza una proyeccion lineal del impacto del gasto en ciencia y tecnologia (GCT) en el PIB durante el periodo 2015-2018. Classification JEL: 033; E01. Abstract In this article factors involved with science, technology and innovation, technological considered key variables that directly impacts on economic growth are addressed. On this basis, an outline of the main economic theories that explain the technological variable in the growth of a country is given as well as the aspect of innovation as a trigger of gross domestic product (GDP). Moreover, through statistical methods seeks to check the correlation between the different variables and their impact on seven of the major economic sectors, which together more than 90% of the investment the country made in science and technology. On that basis, a linear projection of the impact of expenditure on science and technology (ESC) is done in GDP during the period 2015-2018.
