| Abstract | The lack of knowledge about the agricultural aptitude of grounds, and also the absence of planning to the cultivation’s implantation, has caused negative impacts to the environment. The aim of this essay was to analyze the conflict of the use in six watersheds in the recharging area of Guarani Aquifer. The methodology used came from the determination of the current use of the soil and the agricultural aptitude of grounds, which were crossed using techniques of geoprocessing and Boolean logic for the creation of the maps. It was found worrying situations in three watersheds, which presented overutilization in relation to the agricultural aptitude. Also confirmed is the fact that in the major part of the studied area, the utilization of the grounds is below its agricultural potential (underutilized), featuring sustainability of the natural sources utilization, particularly the soils. Although this underutilization implies ignorance of the agricultural production’s techniques, concomitant with the use of inadequate agricultural practices, which might generate environmental degradation in the recharging areas, vital for the quality of the waters held in Guarani Aquifer. |
