The present article objectived the evaluation of production and decomposition of the litterfall in 5 treatments of ecological rehabilitation. The higher value was found at the treatment MB- 2(15.557 kg.ha -1 ), followed by MB-3, MB-5, MB-1, MB-4(13.093, 11.444, 10.898 and 9.266 kg.ha -1 respectively). The higher decomposition rate(DR) was found in MB-5, suggesting higher decomposition of the litterf all associated with higher diversity plays an important role in ecosystem construction. MB-1 has presented the lower DR. The control area had presented the lower values in all variables studied.
