| Abstract | Diabetes is a disease that affects human life negatively, which can cause serious and permanent damage in vital organs. In this study was used Paliurus spina-christi Mill. (PSC) plant’s fruit extract. Effects of these extracts were investigated to on the levels glucose, urea, uric acid, cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL) and high density lipoprotein (HDL), Aspartate amino transferase (AST) and Alanine amino transferase (ALT) enzymes on diabetic rats were induced with streptozotocin (STZ). Prepared four groups which two of which were control groups. Diabetes was formed by streptozotocin implementation. After implementation of streptozotocin, 2 groups were orally administered PSC extracts during 30 days of treatment. Article History Received : 05.04.2017 Accepted : 24.05.2017 |
