| Abstract | Therapeutic Residences or Residential Therapeutic Services are houses inserted in the community and that have residents as individuals with mental disorders, graduates of long-stay psychiatric hospitalizations, without social support and with missing or fragile family ties that make their social insertion impossible for the family. In this context, the need for a nursing care, focused on the integral attention of the person with mental disorder, understood in its biological, psychic, social and spiritual aspects, through a systematized nursing care, is perceived. From the above, the objective was to analyze the most prevalent Nursing Diagnoses in Residents of Therapeutic Residences, based on NANDA-I Taxonomy II. To support the dissertation, an Integral Review article was prepared with the purpose of characterizing the care demands of Residents of Therapeutic Residential Services in light of the Basic Human Needs theory. The search was performed at the bases Scopus, Cinahl, Lilacs, Bdenf and PubMed. Original articles published between 2002 and 2015 were included in English, Portuguese or Spanish. The original article emerged from the database from a cross-sectional study of census sample, performed with 190 residents of both sexes from 31 Therapeutic Residential Services of Recife-PE. For data collection, conducted between January and July 2015, a data collection instrument was constructed and used using the theoretical framework of the Risner Analytical Model. This model is divided into two stages: data analysis phase and synthesis; and construction of nursing diagnoses according to a taxonomy. Next, the experts applied the accuracy test of the Nursing Diagnostics found. For the analysis, the chi-square test was used. The results of the Integrative Revision emerged from the analysis of 14 studies that evidenced the Basic Human Needs of Psychobiology and Psychosocial Care. Therefore, no caregiver was found regarding the psycho-spiritual needs of residents of Therapeutic Residences in Brazil. The original article verified the presence of two Nursing Diagnoses with focus on the problem and nine Nursing Diagnoses of risk that, in this population, referred to the Basic Human Needs psychobiological and psychosocial. It is concluded that the identified needs involve issues associated with the long periods of pre-existing psychiatric hospitalization and negatively affect the health of the residents. It is necessary to integrate the resident, the community, the care network and, in particular, the Family Health Strategy, in order to prevent injuries and intervene in the identified needs, preventing Nursing Diagnostics with a focus on the problem from worsening and Risk Nursing Diagnoses become focused on the problem, thus highlighting the importance of a nursing care systematized through the Nursing Process. |
