El uso de dispositivos para la interpretación de los bienes culturales en Andalucía

| Abstract | espanolEn la sociedad contemporanea, la madurez de las TIC s ha revolucionado el turismo, con una especial incidencia en el turismo cultural. La aparicion de nuevas herramientas para la interpretacion del patrimonio cultural ha abierto un amplio horizonte para mejorar su difusion, accesibilidad y disfrute. Sin embargo, esta investigacion parte de la hipotesis de que un instrumento como la audioguia sigue totalmente vigente a pesar de haber experimentado una evolucion minima en los ultimos 50 anos. Para contrastar dicha hipotesis, se realiza una revision del papel que estan jugando los instrumentos digitales en la interpretacion de los espacios culturales, analizando las tendencias de la demanda y la penetracion de nuevas herramientas a partir del desarrollo de las TIC s y los dispositivos moviles y como esto esta afectando a la oferta de las tradicionales audioguias. Para ello se ha seleccionado una amplia muestra de instituciones culturales de Andalucia (patrimoniales y museisticas segun relevancia turistica y cultural), para realizar un analisis de los tipos de dispositivos, ya sean analogicos o digitales, que se estan ofreciendo actualmente a sus visitantes. Asimismo, se analiza la oferta para la interpretacion del patrimonio cultural comercializada por otro tipo de actores (publicos y privados) de los principales destinos culturales de Andalucia. Con esta investigacion se realiza una valoracion del grado de penetracion que las TIC s aplicadas a la interpretacion del patrimonio cultural esta teniendo en Andalucia, asi como si el grado de puesta en valor tecnologico de los recursos culturales es acorde con las nuevas tendencias del turismo. EnglishIn modern society, ICTs development has brought about a radical change in tourism, with a first-rate influence on cultural tourism. New tools outbreak for cultural heritage interpretation has revealed a wide new horizon for improving its dissemination, accessibility, and enjoyment. However, this research is based on the hypothesis that a device like an audio guide is still in full demand despite having undergone a minimal evolution over the last 50 years. To contrast this hypothesis, a review of the role digital devices play in the interpretation of cultural spaces has been put into action, analyzing trends in demand and the penetration of new tools based on the development of ICTs and mobile devices and how this is affecting the supply of traditional audio guides. To this end, a large sample of cultural institutions in Andalusia has been selected (patrimonial and museums according to tourist and cultural relevance), to carry out a testing program of the different types of devices, whether analogical or digital, that are currently being offered to its visitors. It also considers others institutions proposals for the interpretation of the cultural heritage (governmental and private) from main cultural destinations in Andalusia. With this research, an assessment is made of the degree of penetration that ICTs applied to the interpretation of cultural heritage is having in Andalusia, as well as whether the degree of technological value of cultural resources is in line with new tourism trends. |
