| Abstract | In this paper, the validation of the method for the determination of molybdenum and chromium present in raw water and treated wastewater and wastewater Nickel atomic absorption spectroscopy flame. The raw water sample is from the birth of the creek Manzanares, treated water sample was taken from the tap of the aqueduct in the laboratory of Water and Food Pereira Technological University and wastewater sample used was provided by the company Penuel Plastics located via Zaragoza, which takes care of washing the car battery cases and bikes to make products such material, in the laboratory by adding concentrated HNO3 were preserved until a pH <2, were stored in plastic containers previously washed with a nitrate solution 10% (v / v) and rinsed several times with distilled water and finally were kept at room temperature until analysis. For developing validation was calibrated using volumetric adequately washed with HNO3 at 10% (v / v) and rinsing with distilled water. Because there are several methods for the extraction of metals, preliminary tests were made to determine the most appropriate digestion method, obtaining better results with the method of HNO3. Determinations were performed using atomic absorption spectrophotometer AA-7000 SHIMADZU using the technique called air-acetylene flame nickel metal and nitrous oxide-acetylene molybdenum and chromium metals. Were used hollow cathode lamps Molybdenum, Chromium and Nickel operating at 313.3 nm, current of 15 mA, bandwidth 0.2 nm, 357.9 nm, current of 10 mA, 0.7 bandwidth nm, 232.0 nm, current of 12 mA, bandwidth of 0.2 nm respectively. Finally, statistical analyzes were performed with which it could be determined if the method to validate, was adequate and meets all the specifications required by the NTC / ISO / IEC 17025. |
