| Abstract | Antiserum against tyrosine hydroxylase clearly reacts with two types of neurons in the rabbit paraventricular nucleus: catecholaminergic neurons, also present in rat and mouse, and neurons also staining for ocytocin and neurophysin; the latter neurons have not been reported in other species. This result raises the question of a possible aminergic potentiality of a subpopulation of oxytocinergic neurons in the rabbit hypothalamus. |
