| Abstract | This document describes the SBus–MultiKron Interface board which is also known as the Probe Acquisition Board (PAB). The PAB collects probe data from a SuperMSPARC node by channeling data from the node SBus to a data collection network called SPInet. Data is collected from any of four processors on a single node by a NIST MultiKron chip. Since it is possible for multiple probe data streams to be interleaved at the interface, the PAB maintains individual probe integrity by a hardware supported buffer assignment scheme. |
