| Abstract | This paper addresses the structure of the action for judicial review in criminal proceedings for serious violations of human rights and breaches of international humanitarian law as an interface between the decisions of the InterAmerican human rights system and Colombian public law. The order to reopen cases issued by the Inter-American system due to the State's dereliction of its duty to investigate and prosecute such cases in a serious, genuine and impartial manner has generated discussions in terms of human rights within the competent judicial institutions with regard to how such an order can be incorporated into the national system. |
