| Abstract | Our work is done on the vertical, longitudinal and seasonal distribution of aquatic invertebrates in the hyporheic zone of the C0 station ( upstream Oued Chouly ) , physico-chemical and faunal samples were carried at the superficial and two depths 30 and 60 cm in hyporheic ,during the period May 2011 to April 2012 . We used the sampling method of ( Bou Rouch ) for hyporheic samples and surber net for surface samples. The total fauna is composed of 67 taxa distributed over 4469 individuals including 56 in the superficial environment and 46 in the hyporheic zone. These results showed that the surface environment is richer taxonomically than the hyporheic zone, and the taxa are distributed differently between the three levels depending on the type of life and environmental conditions. |
