Abstract	Contrary to the guidelines of the European Convergence, language skills are the skills less worked in engineering in general, and in computer engineering in particular. Trying to alleviate this problem, during the academic year 2009/2010 we have introduced the assessment of these competencies within the overall assessment of the subject. Specifically, this assessment was performed by oral expositions and by the production of different types of written documents. This paper describes the implementation of this experience.
