| Abstract | Based on the assump ons of the theory of Martha Rogers and the design of an assessment guide with domains and classes, the nursing care process to an adult pa ent with gastric cancer and severe anemic syndrome was implemented. During this process, holis c care was favored giving priority to the achievement of results, on the basis of the correla on between NANDA (before the North American Nursing Diagnosis Associa on), NOC (Nursing Outcomes Classifi ca on), NIC (Nursing Interven ons Classifi ca on). In the evalua on, improvement was iden fi ed with change in the target score from substan al to mild in respiratory distress and disturbance in the energy fi eld, as in the biopsychosocial and spiritual dimensions. The experience allowed a be er understanding of the cancer pa ent as a unitary human being and a new approach to decision-making in care and applica on of a lateral thinking to solve problems in collabora on and joint par cipa on among family-pa ent-nurse. In this sense, this ar cle is an invita on to refl ect on the act and interact as individuals and as unique and indivisible human beings. |
