| Abstract | Helicobacter pylori is a microorganism that infects the stomach of human and cause gastritis, the complicated may cause a gastric cancer. This microorganism is transmitted by oral-oral, gastric-oral and fecal-oral, the recent researches claim that the latter route of transmission H. pylori survives in the water being able to form biofilms with others microorganisms. The medic literature in recent years has developed many experiments to test the presence of this bacteria en the water. This work aims to search about the different techniques used to date that can detect the microorganism in the water. Likewise, make recommendations to select the test that best offers characteristic for verify the presence of this microorganism in the water. The methodology used to accomplish this goal was a literature revision of type descriptive, qualitative and theoretical. Therefore, the result obtained from the literature review show that the microbiological and immunological techniques are less used when compared with the molecular techniques as PCR and FISH because they presented more false result is a many. For its part, the molecular techniques are useful. However the technique FISH has increased accuracy for the identification of Helicobacterpylori in water. |
