Abstract	This thoughtful article with a qualitative approach seeks to understand how young people 14 to 16 years of Medellin who have been living on the streets and now housed in welfare centers in the city, have managed to build resilient processes. The methodology used in the preparation of this article was made from a bibliography and documental tracing of resilience and the inhabitant of the street. From the work of the social worker provides a qualitative look at this reality in ways that contribute to accurate adaptation to the home environment of adolescents who have had that experience.
