| Abstract | Integratedanalysisofwatermanagementincorporatesagreatrangeofdimensionsandaspectsinvolvedinthemanagementofawater system.Lately,thesekindofstudieshavebecomenumerousbecausetheyallowgettingaholisticknowledgeandtheyalsohelpman agerswiththedecisionmakingprocess.Nevertheless,thereisnotyetageneralmethodologyfortacklingthistypeofstudiesandthere isabigopenedfieldconcerningthetoolsandtechniquesapplication.Thispaperestablishesamethodology,whichcanbeextrapolated toothercasestudies,andapracticalprocedurefortheintegratedanalysisofgroundwatermanagement.Thisanalysisstartswiththeiden tificationandconceptualizationofthehydricproblematic.Then,asecondphaseisfocusedonthedevelopmentofsectorialanddetailed studies.ThethirdphaseisthebuildingoftheDecisionSupportSystem(DSS)basedontheresultsfromthesectorialstudies.Thisresearch developsandproposestheapplicationofastochasticDSSbasedonObject-OrientedBayesianNetworks(OOBNs )thatallowsincorpo ratingahugerangeofaspectssuchashydrogeological,socioeconomicandenvironmental,amongothers.Thelastphaseoftheproce dureisthesimulationofwatermanagementscenariosthroughtheDSS.Thisallowscomparingandquantifyingtheimpactsgenerated bythreewatermanagementinterventionswhichhavebeenproposedpreviously.Thefirstscenarioestablishesthecontinuationofthe currentsituation,thesecondscenarioismadeupofforseveralwatermanagementinterventionswhicharetheincomingofexternalwater resources,thepurchaseofwaterrightsandareductionofthewaterdemand;finally,thethirdscenarioimpliestoreachtheequilibrium intheaquiferwaterbudgets. |
