| Abstract | espanolEntre los profesionales sanitarios de la Edad Moderna, los medicos constituyeron un grupo socioprofesional singular dada su obligatoria formacion universitaria. Con el proposito de contribuir al estudio social de la medicina de aquella epoca, el presente trabajo da cuenta del numero de medicos que obtuvo su grado de Bachiller o Doctor en la Universidad de Orihuela a lo largo del siglo XVIII. Tambien aporta datos sobre su procedencia geografica y comprende una relacion nominal de ellos con sus respectivas fechas de graduacion. EnglishBack in the Modern Age, doctors were a singular socio-professional group, as university education was compulsory for them. Aiming at contributing to the social study of Medicine then, this article shows how many doctors got their Bachelor’s or Doctor’s degree at the University of Orihuela in the XVIIIth century. It also offers information on where they came from and includes a list with their names and the dates when they got their degrees |
