| Abstract | Augmented reality is the field of Virtual reality in which user perceives the real environment magnified by any type of information. This field has infinity potential uses, one of them is its use in vision aid area. The goal of this report is to determine the possibility of using AR in this area, concretely for the correction of vision refractive defects (ametropies) and presbyopia. Actually these vision defects are corrected by the use of glasses, contact lenses and LASIK surgery. The use of Augmented Reality could offer a different choice to the use of these solutions, adding other characteristics as personalization and computation capabilities. |
