Abstract	Throughout the seventeenth century Teresian female monastic foundations still have a strong influence. many women took the decision to erect Carmelite convents under this renewed spirit, although as time goes on increases the difficulties to achieve it. at the beginning of the century, the augustinians are only present in Granada with Calced order, then the recollect branch is installed. With regard to female family of this order, will not have their beginnings to 1636 with a humble beaterio in albaicin that ultimately will lead to two convents of augustinian recollects. The present paper tries to explain to women and men who, in one way or another, achieved some prominence during a process that lasted for more than four decades, until the convent status.
