| Abstract | This thesis entitled "Straregi Marketing Communication Department of Health of Padang City in Socializing Diphtheria Virus (Quantitative Descriptive Study of Marketing Communication Strategy of Padang City Health Office at Posyandu Kecamatan Lubuk Begalung in Socializing Diphtheria Virus). The objective of the study was to socialize health in disseminating diphtheria virus, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the socialization. Relevant theories in this research are Communication & Communication Health, Interpersonal Communication, Mass Communication, Marketing Communications, Marketing Communications Strategy, Socialization, Immunization and S-O-R. This research is a quantitative research using quantitative descriptive method. The number of population in this study amounted to 1370 people, sample determination using Slovin Wilnik formula obtained sample of 93 people. Sampling technique in this research use Purposive Sampling and Accidental sampling. Data technique in this research is library research (library research) and field research (field research). Data analysis technique performed is a single analysis using SPSS version 14. The result of the research shows the marketing communication strategy conducted by Padang City Health Office (1) advocacy, (2) the development of atmosphere, (3) the community empowerment, and (4) Partnership and the supporting factor of the success of this socialization is the interest and interest of the community and who become the inhibiting factor of this socialization is the lack of public understanding about diphtheria virus |
