Abstract	The global cosume of aluiminum has a increase in other important mineral this century. The Para estate is advantaged cebause its subsoil shelters greatest third global bauxite reservation. The specific environmental and physic characteristics and the bauxite localization allow its extraction and a lucrative process to exportation atracting private investiments to regional mine industries. It's important to analyse the power of this sector to push on development to other economy sectors to Para estate. The objetive's paper was to analyse bauxite - alumina - aluminum privary sector to evaluate the importance to Paraense is this sector is the one. The research data are secundary and use it like methodologic tool to Update Source Product (USP), correspondent to 2003. The results show that bauxite - alumina - aluminum primary sector is caracterized by a high linkage with other sectors, principaly with connections to bauxite - alumina - aluminum primary sector. Concluding in Hirschman's sense the bauxite - alumina - aluminum primary sector was classified like the one sector, dynamic for it capacity to respond to external impulses and high power to linkage with other sectors to paraense economy.
