Abstract	This paper intends to answer two questions about the “general interest of consumer” as used by article 58 g) statute 19.496. First: what is the meaning for courts of this expression. The second question relates to the opinion of courts about the powers conferred to the National Consumers Service (SERNAC) when this kind of interest is involved.
