Nat. de Alava 8: 55-57 The samples of the genus Crossidium (Pottiaceae, Musci) collected in the Basque Country have been checked. The presence of four taxons has been noted: C. aberrans, C. crassinerve, C. squamiferum and C. squamiferum val'. pottioideum. Alllive in districts under Mediterranean influence, especially in the province of Alava. While C. aberrans and C. crassinerve are restricted to the driest southern enclaves, C. squamiferum is more common.
